Self-driving lets you set your own pace: pick your cellar doors, agree who is driving, and go.

Gibbston, the nearest wine area, is a twenty-five to thirty minute drive from central Queenstown. Lake Hayes and Arrowtown are on the way, with more cellar doors.

Each cellar door links to its page here, with opening hours, what it offers and how to book. For a day plan with lunch stops, see Planning your Queenstown wine day, and for every cellar door, Queenstown wineries.
