The Boat Shed Cafe sits on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, inside the restored 1869 New Zealand Railways Shipping Office. It's a building with history in its bones, and we've built the whole experience around it rather than over it.

Our seasonal menu changes monthly, built around locally sourced produce and the flavours of the region. Come for a lakeside brunch, a coffee, or a long lunch with a local craft beer or wine in hand.

Arrive by foot, bike, or boat. Take in the lake and mountain views while you eat, in a setting that hasn't lost its sense of place.
