Is a kids' menu the same as family friendly?

No. It only means the menu has a section for children. Space, noise and facilities are not on record, so ask the place if they matter to you.

Good to know before you eat out in Queenstown

When is it easiest to eat out with young children?

Early in the evening. Book a table for 5pm or 5:30pm, before places fill up, and ask whether the kids' menu runs all day or only at certain times.

Why are some of the breweries, taprooms and beer bars in the guide not on this list?

A place is on this list only when its menu, listing or hours record that it has a kids' menu. If a place you have in mind is not here, ask it directly before you go.
